Unjust Judgments Rebuked.

A Psalm of Asaph.

1 God takes His ^astand in ^{▼▼ Lit the congregation of God}His own congregation;
He ^cjudges in the midst of the ^{▼▼ Lit gods
,} ^erulers.
2 How long will you ^fjudge unjustly
And ^gshow partiality to the wicked? ^{▼▼ Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude}Selah.
3 ⁱVindicate the weak and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
4 ^jRescue the weak and needy;
Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 They ^kdo not know nor do they understand;
They ^lwalk about in darkness;
All the ^mfoundations of the earth are shaken.
6 ^{▼▼ Lit I, on my part}I ^osaid, “You are gods,
And all of you are ^psons of the Most High.
7 “Nevertheless ^qyou will die like men
And fall like any ^rone of the princes.”
8 ^sArise, O God, ^tjudge the earth!
For it is You who ^upossesses all the nations.
